Take in spectacular bird’s eye views of Brisbane at the iconic lookout at Mount Coot-tha, just a short bus ride from Brisbane Street Studios.

Locals have flocked to the spectacular vantage point for over a century to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Brisbane’s high-rise cityscape and beyond. On a clear day you can look out to the jagged peaks of the D’Aguilar Range and Glass House Mountains to the west, and east to the rainforest-covered islands of Moreton Bay. When the sun goes down, the views are just as impressive, as the city comes alive with sparkling lights.

The lookout is located at the beautiful Mount Coot-tha reserve, a 220 hectare park that’s home to a diverse selection of plant and animal life.

Pack a picnic and spend a day exploring the natural bushland by foot, bike or horseback, drop by the Botanic Gardens to laze on the grass and stop for lunch at the Kuta Cafe.
